The brand
Launched in 1997, HYSEK brand has imposed its disruptive vision within the watch industry as well as its atypical style which heckles and dares the difference.
Independent and unconventional, Hysek has gained a significant and prestigious position on the high end of luxury timepieces. Hysek is synonym of creativity, technicality, quality, exclusiveness. Its contemporary style reveals minimalist and pure lines. HYSEK timepieces are the result of the harmony of shapes and volumes combined to an extreme search of the detail which convey a very strong identity. The elements proper to Hysek concept are the refined and elaborated watch profiles, the multi-layered dials displaying the numbers 1-5-7-11, the personalised hand-engraved movements decoration, the perfect integration of the bracelet into the watch case for an incomparable wearing comfort as well as the fold-over buckles, exclusive design to Hysek in a perfect continuity to the case. The brand has expanded very quickly and in the purpose of establishing its watch making legitimacy, Hysek created its own manufacture in 2007, which placed the company as a major actor of the watch industry. Today, the brand creates and manufactures watches, jewellery, writing instruments and accessories.
The manufacture
By developing its own mechanical movements featuring both minor and grande complications within its Manufacture based in Switzerland, Hysek embodies the subtle alliance between bold design and high-end watch-making know-how. 1997
Historical model, the Kilada’s line has revolutionized the watch design. Its atypical and minimalist style is at the origin of the brand’s identity.
2000
Mr. Akram ALJORD, current C.E.O. becomes the owner of the brand.
2003
Kilada X-Ray Tourbillon. Creation of the first tourbillon personalised by Hysek.
2005
Abyss Explorer, equipped with a patented bezel blocking system
2007
Hysek opens its own manufacture, and thus confirms its legitimacy in the fine watchmaking industry.
The Grande Complication Colosso features, as hanged up in a galaxy of wheels, a three dimensions’ earth which turns on itself in 24 hours.
Launch of the IO collection, which will become one of the pillar of the brand.
2008
Hysek launches its first tourbillon HW03, entirely conceived and manufactured in-house. This tourbillon has been presented within the Abyss timepiece.
2010
Opening of the first Hysek boutique in the prestigious Marina Bay Sands integrated resort, architectural masterpiece overhanging the Singapore’s bay.
2014
Hysek moved its Shanghai flagship Boutique to the prestigious “Peninsula Shanghai Hotel” directly opposite world famous bund.
2016
Presentation of the Hysek’s first precious mechanical collection dedicated to ladies: Kalysta.
2017
With Colossal, Hysek celebrates twenty years of complete independence, creative freedom. This Complication piece features over 1,000 components.
